This Month's Grocery Spending - February 2022

The only things on my list this month was fresh produce, fresh dairy and anything good on sale.  I was hoping to find some good deals on meat and I found quite a few good items on markdown.  A whole chicken marked down 50%, some smoked sausages, pork chops and even some ground beef I got on sale and had coupons for.  I was really pleased about all that.

Markdowns and super sales ruled the month ✌

Great finds in the reduced meats

Eggs, marked down bread & cheeses on sale

I kept my shopping fairly minimal and only bought items at the lowest prices I could find.  I even got some things for FREE, special offers given to me by the stores I shop at regularly.  I used a store gift card to pay for all of my purchases from Albertsons too which equated to more FREE items including three 12 roll packages of toilet paper.  FREE stuff is always appreciated.

FREE salad dressing

FREE mac & cheese

I purchased these items with a gift card...

...as well as these two coffees

My total this month came in at a whopping $64.05.  We were able to get everything we needed and we ate really well too.  I am super happy with how this month's shopping turned out.  Did you find any great deals?  Do you get FREE stuff too?

  1. WOW -- you did an amazing job this month on your grocery totals!

The best I did was today -- I got several packs of chopped salad, different kinds, for 99 cents and 1.49 each. We love that stuff. Otherwise, I have been trying to hold back buying, and using up my mom's stash of canned and frozen goods, instead. (As well as ours)
