Another busy week has flown right by and kept me hopping. Before I realized it my week was coming to an end and for the life of me I have no idea how it went by so fast. I was grateful to be able to successfully repair my damaged ceiling that resulted from the plumbing fiasco upstairs. I’m rather satisfied with how well it turned out. Along with that I also managed to re-caulk the windows in time for winter weather. On Wednesday I ran errands and managed to return the can of texture spray I ended up not needing it.
Along with the final repair tasks and household chores I was busy with work as well as my friends and some volunteer work. I’m sorry this post is so short, but like I said, time completely got away from me. I didn’t want to skip posting altogether so I hope this short little update will suffice.

I also tackled a couple repair projects in my kitchen
I’m ready to enjoy some downtime this weekend and relax a bit. I hope you all enjoyed a nice week as I did. Are you ready for Thanksgiving? Let me know in the comments what has been keeping you busy lately?

Plumbing fiasco? Oh no! I hope you'll tell us about it if you feel you can.
ReplyDeleteYour ceiling looks perfect--I would never know that anything went wrong unless you told us. What did you do (and use) to get it looking so good without having to repaint the entire ceiling?
I was told by a hardware store guy that any repairs to a ceiling would mean a complete repaint job, so I am very curious to know!
Check out last Saturday's post about the plumbing fiasco. I'll be sharing more about the repairs very soon.
DeleteI am seriously impressed by you! I was looking at my ceiling last night and thought "I bet I could fix that myself". Of course, I would also need to paint it myself, but I can do that, too! My week was insane and I am glad it came to a quiet close with me working today. I am really looking forward to next week when I am off all 5 days!
ReplyDeleteYou can totally fix it yourself. Go for it! I'm looking forward to several days off myself.
